Life is Ambition!

At least once in our lifetime every one of us in our childhood has dreamt to be an astronaut, a doctor, a painter and what not, but those ideas that we ever have dreamt are forgotten as the time passed by. Then, we enter into a situation or a scenario where we understand that I want to be like that great xyz personality, but ‘nah’ it is not my cup of tea and then we resume back to our normal life without any seriousness about the decisions that we want to make in our life, and we become like a log of wood that just floats and passes along with the current of the river. But no one thinks that from the same piece of log we can make a small boat out of it and we can select in which direction we want to sail and which destination we want to achieve. So, the main idea out of this is to understand what exactly we want in our life and what can we do to achieve that with utmost determination and will power.

Every now and then we get lost in the fog of infinite variables, where these variables are equivalent to what we want to be in our life. But we step our foot back just by seeing how dense the fog is, but once we understand and have a vivid view about what lies beyond the fog, it becomes much clearer to us that this is where we want to be.

In order to know what actually we want to do and have in our life is it is vital to have a Target, Goal or an Ambition in our life. Just as we all know that in many fighter jets there are 2 people, one (first seater) who is a pilot and one (second seater) who is a navigator. Where the 2nd seater operates the radar because the pilot really couldn’t keep his head in the cockpit when engaging multiple enemy contacts or when the fight was close in. just as important as a navigator is for a pilot to give the directions and clear the sky so that the pilot can have a crystal clear opinion about what, when and where to respond and which are their targets in order to get their mission accomplished. In the same manner having an aim in our life makes things clearer to us.

A lot of time, we search for a route to our destination which is having a bed of roses, but we neglect the fact that no route is a cake walk, there are various obstacles which will be coming over and even becomes quite a herculean task for us to complete it, and we feel completely drained, thereby losing our focus, will power, self-confidence and most importantly our hope. To be specific, it is the hurdle that life throws at us, our destiny will start to test our patience, confidence, courage and stamina. At this point, we should not feel low, but we should scrutinize each step of our movement by analyzing our previous mistakes. In life everyone sets his/her goals and pursues them, but every goal need not to be money oriented. Certain goals are set to serve humanity. For example, Mother Teresa, her main aim in her life was to serve the helpless and distressed people surviving in this world. Today, world salutes her for the chivalrous contribution to the society.

We are blessed even with several warm hearted attributes, a few are – love, mercy, respect, most importantly – unique mind power which can separate the right and the wrong. Hence, we should juggle our mind power to a level that our mind guides us to take only the righteous steps and commitments in life. Without humane instincts, a thoughtful and compassionate mind is same as a brutal animal. We should always maintain our stability between our ambition and our moral responsibilities.

It is very essential to have a constructive aim our life. Our aims should not only construct our lives with honesty and righteousness that life has to offer in plenty but also, we should remember that for acquiring the best quality product from the mart, we have to pay a high price. Likewise, higher our aim, resilient will be the road leading to the target, but with sheer focus, concentration, dedication we will reach our destination by breaking all hurdles.

As once a great person said, “with great power, comes great responsibilities.” in the same manner with great luxuries that you all ever want in your life, you should be ready to struggle and experience all the pain we might get, “No pain, no gain.” So let us set an aim today what we exactly want? Where do we want to see ourselves? How our lifestyle should be? After getting answers for all these queries, let us also start finding answers for these by asking ourselves what we should do in order to make our dream become our reality, in such a way, that our reality looks like a dream for others.

Food for thought:

A SOUL WITHOUT AN AIM IS LIKE A BIRD WITHOUT ITS WINGS.
